Ingredients for Ginger Soup:
Red Gram-1/4 Big Cup Tamarind- Little Coriander-as Needed Curry Leaves-as Needed Salt-1 tsp Rasam Power-1 tsp Small Tomato-1 (Chopped) Mustard-1/4 tsp Asafoetida-1 Piece Ginger-1 Piece (Peeled)
Procedure to make Ginger Soup:
1. Grind ginger and make a fine paste. Then filter this mixure and take the top floating eesence. Take a vessel and boil the dhal well. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and season it. Soak the tamarind in water and extract the tamarind juice. Add salt, asafoetida, chopped onion, rasam powder and allow to boil for 8 minutes. 3. When starts boiling, add boiled dhal. When foam starts, add curry leaves and corinader leaves and then add the seasoned mustard and remove from flame. Then add ginger juice. We can also add 1/2 tea spoon of seasoned cumin seeds. |
