INGREDIENTS for Punjabi Chana Spices: White Chickpeas-1cup Green Chilly-1 Chilly Powder-1/4tsp Onion-1(Big) Tomato-2 Salt-Enough Need Ghee-4tsp Garam Masala-1/2tsp Cumin Seed-1/2tsp Coriander –for Garnishing Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp Garlic-5Flakes Oil-2tsp PROCEDURE to make Punjabi Chana Spices: 1. Soak overnight the chickpeas. Take the soaked chickpeas and put in to cooker, add turmeric powder,salt,1/2 tea spoon chilly powder, chopped garlic and pressure cook for 4 whistle. Heat oil in a pan along with ghee, add garlic and grinded onion and fry well. 2. Add Cumin seed, green chilly, chilly powder, salt and grinded tomato paste. Then add boiled ingredients along with water and garnish with garam masala and coriander leaves and remove from flame. |
